Kentucky Public Entity Programs, Inc. was actually started in 1983 to provide specialized insurance coverage's to Emergency Service Organizations around the state of Kentucky and was originally named VFIS of Kentucky. In 1998, the name was changed to Kentucky Public Entity Programs, Inc. because we were being asked to provide insurance proposals to a number of Municipalities affiliated with some of the Fire Departments and Rescue Squads being insured by the VFIS Program.

Our Principal has over 35 years of experience insuring Emergency Service Organizations and was a volunteer fireman himself for 20 years.  As well as our Marketing Representative that has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry with 7 of those years with experience insuring Emergency Service Organizations.  He also has been a volunteer fireman and is currently a part-time fireman for the last 14 years.
